Here at Bauer Precision we take pride in our products and services, and we want to do everything we can to help our customers. With that said, there are some limitations.
TL;DR:
We aren't a repair depot or a manufacturer service center for third party brands. If your product does not fit correctly, is damaged or defective, or has what appears to be manufacturing defects, it is the Manufacturer's responsibility to correct it, not ours here at Bauer Precision. We'll do everything we can to help - but we're not authorized to repair stuff.
Explanation:
We mostly sell products manufactured by others.
Manufacturers make mistakes, they may ship things missing a piece, or they make have shipped a defective product. Yes, it even happens to the best brands. We make every effort to ensure the parts we ship are complete and undamaged, but we do not disassemble packages, test fit, or inspect every part. There are a few reasons for that, but one is largely integrity of the product from the manufacturer. One exception are serialized items, because we have to confirm the serial number. Also, you as the customer are already paying for the QC process that the manufacturer conducts, so why make you pay extra in handling for us to do it too?
If you have an issue with a part purchased through us, you are always welcome to get in touch with us, and we'll help however we can. Examples include:
- Fitment questions - is it supposed to work this way?
- Is a piece missing? / Was it supposed to come with X?
- I think the product is damaged, can you confirm?
- How can you help me get in touch with the OEM?
If the issue is something the manufacturer needs to address, we're happy to help you get in touch with them. However, all repair/replacement services will have to be directly between you as the customer, and the OEM. This applies to all purchases, including firearms, NFA items, accessories and parts, ammo, etc.
